Yesterday and also today is snowing! I'm very happy : )
I was born in January but I don't tolerate the cold well.
In this season, I always remember making kamakura as a child.
Kamakura is a house made from snow.
As you know, in fact, inside, it is usually very warm, but my kamakura was not.
It was very cold><
Maybe its construction was no good.
But I was very happy because I could make it all by myself.
Have you ever made kamakra?
Was your kamakra warm?
I want to know how to make warm kamakra.
Oh, you made Kamakura by yourself!
ReplyDeleteFantastic!
As I'm from Gunma, where it doesn't snow very much, I don't know how to make warm Kamakura, either.
Why don't we make together? (^^)/
That sounds like a great project! If we get a lot of snowfall again, let's make one with the whole class!

Thank you for showing me a picture of a kamakura house. What a lovely memory to have of actually building one yourself. What a shame it wasn't as warm as you had hoped it would be inside. If it was years n years ago, n you were a kiddie out protecting the crops in your kamakura, you would have had a smaller doorway.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the cold, either. Brrr!! I feel I'm in semi-hibernation, only going outside when I really have to, until the Spring comes around again and it warms up everywhere.
p.s. I love the rose-petal paper that you have chosen for your Blog page. It's absolutely beautiful. I chose this paper, myself, as the background/surround for two cat drawings by Chinese artist, Cheng Yan, that I framed. They look extra especially beautiful now.. n I get to see a little of this delightful paper every day.
I'm sorry, I meant to say that if it was years n years ago... PERHAPS, you would have had a smaller doorway.
